A SIMPLE THANK YOU
Linda from The Bullet Hole here taking this opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you to all the shooters I've had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know over the past 23 years. Many of you became regulars that I looked forward to seeing and getting to know personally. It was such a pleasure for me to talk to like minded folks, get to meet your spouses, hear about and sometimes meet your children and grandchildren, hear about your travels and learn about your careers. It was gratifying to see some non-shooters and non-gun folks, both men and women, learn to shoot and find out how much fun it can be, also how safe it can be if learned and carried out correctly.
Your loyalty and continued patronage meant a lot over the years! Many of you became customers when we started out on L Street and stuck with us through the move and all the many economic and social ups and downs. The Bullet Hole is a very small part of an industry that has never been stagnant and has always been less than predictable. To say the industry is challenging would be a massive understatement.
The Bullet Hole continues on! I just won't be here. However, being at The Bullet Hole never felt like a job to me because I enjoyed it so much. I will miss seeing each of you regularly, whether that was weekly, monthly or annually. If we see each other out and about, please make a point of coming over and saying "Hi." Again, thank you to each and every one of you.
Summer hours at The Bullet Hole are now in effect. The Bullet Hole is open daily from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Both lane use and classes are easier to get into in the summer. This is a great time of year to get those guns you plan to use this fall sighted in.
All classes continue year round and are posted just to the right. Double click on the class title and you will see a screen that gives you complete information regarding that class. Introduction to Pistols and the CCW class are offered, at a minimum, monthly. You may register over the phone for all but the CCW class. When registering for the CCW class there is a short questionnaire you will be asked to fill out. Don't let your CCW Permit expire. If you do, you have to retake the class! Notice the new lower price for the CCW class!
Socially, politically and economically, this is a very unpredictable time in the gun industry. If you have always wanted a gun, or are thinking of buying a gun to add to your collection, DO IT!! Guns we don't have and can't get, are happily accepted for Transfer. Go ahead and find that elusive gun on line, complete the purchase and then call and ask that a Transfer Form be filled out on your behalf. We will get your name, contact information, make and model of what's coming and from whom it is being shipped. When that gun or receiver arrives, we'll give you a call for pickup. Transfers are a benefit of membership here at The Bullet Hole. If you are a member, you'll only pay $20 per gun; if a non-member you'll pay $40 per transferred gun.
Some folks still seem confused about the Silencer laws. Silencers are legal to own and shoot. We sell Silencers. They do take some extra paperwork and time to acquire, but we will be happy to walk you through the entire process. The sooner you start the process, the sooner you will have your Silencer.
You are always welcome to bring your own guns and shoot your own ammo at The Bullet Hole. Just remember, if you want to rent a gun, you must provide us with proof of a background check. A Military I.D., a Permit to Purchase and/or a CCW Permit provide that proof. If you don't have any of those currently, the cheapest and fastest way to get a background check is to get your Permit to Purchase. Although, it's a State card, it is issued by the County in which you reside. It is $5, good for three years and does not commit you to buying a gun. If you are renting a gun, for liability purposes, you must purchase our ammo for any caliber larger than a .22.
The Bullet Hole is open 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Daily
